Hand-Built Ceramic Vase, Floral Design with Pie Crust Edge

Bring beautiful color and handmade character to your home with this one-of-a-kind ceramic vase. Completely hand built from a slab of clay rather than thrown on a pottery wheel, the vase has a wonderfully organic shape that celebrates the beauty of handmade pottery.

The rim is carefully formed by hand into a charming “pie crust” edge, adding texture and personality to the design. A delicate floral pattern is transferred onto the clay during the making process, while the upper portion of the vase is finished with a gorgeous combination of flowing blue glazes. The glazes blend and run naturally during firing, creating beautiful variations in color that make this vase truly unique.

Measuring approximately 8 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide, the vase is watertight and perfect for displaying fresh-cut flowers, garden blooms, or a few favorite stems. It’s equally beautiful displayed on its own as a piece of ceramic art.

Like all of my pottery, this vase is individually made by hand. Natural variations in shape, size, glaze, and weight are part of its character—no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
